Freakoween night found the nocturnally hyper active funseeking freak out again this time downtown at the G. Love & Special Sauce at the freak esteemed Quest Club. Garrett aka G. always performs like the pro he is & Special Sauce are. I’d been exceedingly anticipating this uprising freak-for-all frenzied folly fixated live joint falling by the one & freakin’ only Special Sauce fronted by surreal scene hero freak supafriend G. Love. The show featured many of my most prized faves like “Don’t Drop It”, that freakadelic super stony weed tune (name escapes freak), “Booty Call”, “This Ain’t Livin”, “Cold Beverage”, “Baby’s Got Sauce”, “Fishing Song”, “Kick Drum”, “Give It To You”, as well as all the encores “Night of the Living Dead”, “Parasite”, “Superhero Brother”, “Gimme Some Lovin”, some dirty song (w/ slightly stoopid), “Astronaut”. So as long as Garrett’s musical mission intersects with mine, I know we’ll be hanging out whichs looks to go on forever. Smirking song soother G-led GL&SS at the expansive flipping massive dancefloored Quest is about as expando kripto cronk as you can get live wise in this town. We wish highest props to G. & the band as well as the way cool tour merch guy Frank. The freak’s personally hoping to talk to Garrett again sometime soon interview style.
